MAIN EVENTS
The Temporary Leaving-Home Monk/Nun Program is a 11-day monastic retreat as part the WPG focus on 3 main aspects:
01 | Continuing the tradition and the monastic ideals of Buddhist ordainments. This is a cultivation practice highly praised by the Lord Buddha. |
02 | Each Temporary Leaving-Home Monk/Nun altruistically dedicates his/her cultivation for others and not to gain one’s own blessings and personal interests. |
03 | Facilitate an environment for WPG participants to achieve Samadhi and to build synergy during the Mandala. |
Bodhisattva Supporter
The Bodhisattva Supporter Program runs in conjunction with the Temporary Leaving-Home Monk/Nun Program for those who wish to practice altruistic deeds and to cultivate the dharma. This program offers a great opportunity for those who wish to further their Bodhisattva practice. The program also lasts 11 days from Mar 27 – April 06, 2026.

- Participate the WPG from Friday April 03 to Sunday Sunday April 05, 2026 at Anaheim Convention Center.
- Attend the Returning the Samaịera 10 Precepts Ceremony on Monday morning April 06, 2026 at Anaheim Convention Center.
- The program will end on Monday night, April 06, 2026.
