We welcome all participants to attend all 3 days of this Dharma Event. Please kindly register to help us better plan and serve all.
Please note children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Many Buddhist faith practitioners prefer wearing their grey of brown meditation set, this is not a requirement. Do consider dressing comfortably to actively participate in ceremonial bowing, moderate sitting for meditation and fair amount of walking.
Please kindly dress modestly and conservatively.
Huong-Lam Buddhist Temple is located in the city of Pearland. Cars, ride shares are the best way to get to the temple.
There is no public transportation system serving this locale.

There are numerous lodging options and numerous vegan/ vegetarian nearby the temple. Please check out this to select your preferred lodging or vegan/ vegetarian restaurants.
Lunch, Dinner and Snacks will be served daily during the three days at the Temple.
There is no cost to attend the event. Donations are greatly appreciated. We thank you in advance for your donations.

The Dharma Event is packed full of programs and activities for the whole two days. We hope that you will participate in all program from the Purification Ceremony all through the Mandala Ceremony. Please refer to the daily schedule of events for more details.

The Temporary Home-Leaving Monk/Nun program offers participants an opportunity to experience and practice full fledged monastic life. This is 12 days retreat that starts on December 28th at the camp and concludes January 08th at Anaheim Convention Center. Please click the link below for full details of this program:
We have many chairs reserved for all that can’t sit on the floor.
We welcome all of you to attend even for half a day. Please try to arrange work to attend the Mandala Ceremony, Sunday evening October 15, so together we will offer prayers for the deceased victims due to the pandemic.
